Palm Cove is renowned for its outstanding natural beauty and pristine environment. The "Keep Australia Beautiful Council" recently recognised this with its first national award in the category of "Australia's Cleanest Beach" by awarding it to Palm Cove.
The Cove is also convenient to everything. As well as trips to the Great Barrier Reef, beautiful scenic drives and walks can begin right from your door.
There is lots to do without even leaving 'the Cove' however. The golf course is just a pitching wedge from your back door as are the restaurants, bistros, bars, spas, gift and resort wear shops along Palm Cove Esplanade.
The height limit on buildings along the Palm Cove foreshore ensures that the native flora engages harmoniously with the built environment. Beach almonds, native gardenia, melaleuca, she-oaks and sea lettuce attract up to 120 species of birds including brightly coloured lorikeets, kookaburras and many different types of honey eaters.
